Comics aren’t just for kids – they can have depth, be poetic, and present complex themes in unique ways.

In Cartoon Life, we will explore a variety of wonderful, quirky, and thought-provoking comics and cartoons from around the world. Through presentations and group discussions, we analyse how images tell stories and build connections across languages and cultures.

We will not just study the works of others – we will also create our own comics! Working on character development, world-building, drawing techniques, and visual identity, will help you craft your own unique story and style.

At the end of the semester we will release a collective publication gathering all of your best comics for all of your friends to enjoy.
