Outdoor Light

The Silkeborg lake district offers an outdoor buffet of vast forests and beautiful lakes and in the subject Outdoor light we will explore this diverse scenery on foot, by bike, from a canoe and from a climbing harness above the tree tops.

We will examine the local vegetation and animal life, practice our bon fire and orienteering skills, go mushroom foraging and winter swimming and bake pancakes using local herbs in season.

Outdoor light welcomes anybody who enjoys spending time in nature and wishes to acquire the basic skills needed for exploring nature on your own.

This subject is taught in Danish but translation will be provided for you by your teacher and classmates.
