Woodwork

Craftsmanship carries within it respect for and knowledge of materials as well as hours of work to master and refine the process to arrive at a unique product. However, today few people experience the joy of creating with their hands.

In the subject Handicraft, we expand our understanding of materials and learn about different types of wood and their properties, and using a carving knife and an axe we create everyday tools from wood.

We will search for fresh wood in nature and immerse ourselves in the experience of creating with the power of our hands.

This subject is taught in Danish. However, relevant translation will be provided for international students.
