Sustainable innovation

In this subject we will work with creative and sustainable solutions to both small and enormously complex challenges. We will approach the concept of sustainability from social, cultural and environmental perspectives. We will explore our own local society and learn about new sustainable technologies, circular economy and upcoming green solutions. We will explore initiatives developed by organizations and companies as well as projects driven by our local municipality or the government.

Maybe you will find inspiration to do things differently from what your parents or your own cultural upbringing have tought you. Together, we shall share our visions for the future as well as the experiences we all face as citizens of modern society.

Part of this class is testing and implementing ideas at the school or in collaboration with people from the city of Silkeborg.

This subject is taught in English.
