Beer brewing is not about percentages, but about processes. Using our senses of touch, sight, taste, hearing and smell we will explore yeast, hops and malt. Get to know the stories behind IPA, Pilsner, wheat and other types of beer, and join in on creating the story of the Silkeborg Beer which we will brew and brand together. We will also visit a microbrewery and hear from the brewmaster on entrepreneurship within the business.
Beer is not just beer – and this class will take you through the process via history, natural science, entrepreneurship and good stories.
This subject is taught in Danish. However, relevant translation will be provided for international students.
