Circular clothing

In the subject Circular Clothing you will gain an understanding of the artisanal traditions on which our culture is based. We look at the qualities inherent in the craft and the creative process, and we review the clothing craft in a historical perspective and examine how the industry and production have continuously changed.

We examine the clothing and fashion industry and research production conditions, marketing methods, greenwashing and corporate responsibility in relation to sustainability and working conditions.

Together, we also learn more about the opportunities and resources that are inherent in recycling. You will gain insight into the climate footprint of your own consumption – and learn basic tools and sewing techniques that will enable you to create simple, beautiful and useful models from recycled materials.

This subject is taught in Danish. However, relevant translation will be provided for international students.
