Nature is calling

The landscape of the lake-highland surrounding the højskole offers everything from deep forests to beautiful lakes. In this subject, we will experience our surroundings on foot, by bike, in a climbing harness and in a canoe.

We will practice bonfire techniques, explore animal and plant life, find our way through the forests, go mushroom foraging and (winter) bathing and bake pancakes with seasonal wild herbs. If you want to get closer to nature and learn basic skills to be able to seek out more nature experiences on your own, this is the right subject for you.

This subject is taught in Danish. However, relevant translation will be provided for international students.
