Songwriting

In this songwriting class, we research, read and sing existing songs – as well as write lyrics ourselves.

We will immerse ourselves in different genres and tracks; how do we experience music? What feelings and sensations does music evoke in each of us?

Picking from the songwriters’ toolbox we will analyse form, structure, linguistic characteristics, chord progressions, instrumentation, arrangement and much more before exploring the craft ourselves in various exercises.

You will have the opportunity to develop your songwriting skills and receive plenty of feedback to push you forward.  

This subject is taught in Danish. However, relevant translation will be provided for international students.
